Noh Rahman takes charge as Head Coach of BG Tampines Rovers FC until the end of the 2025/26 season.
The former Singapore international hung up his playing boots at the club back in 2016 and joined our coaching team in 2023 as Head of Youth Development and Assistant Coach. Now, as he takes charge as Head Coach, he looks to take this experience with The Stags to guide the team to new heights.
“Over the two years I have been part of the club’s coaching team, I have personally seen the environment and culture that the club has built, and it is something I would like not only to continue, but to improve upon. Tampines will always challenge for success, and the boys are ready to continue to make the badge proud,” he said.

Looking ahead, the club has a busy September as we face teams on 3 competitive fronts in a stretch of challenging Away games - in the Singapore Premier League tomorrow against Tanjong Pagar United, in the AFC Champions League Two on the 18th against Kaya F.C.–Iloilo in the Philippines, and in the Shopee Cup on the 24th against Selangor FC in Malaysia. With this in mind, however, Head Coach Noh Rahman remains calm and ready for the tests ahead.
“Of course, this opportunity came quite unexpectedly, but I can humbly say that I am ready for this new challenge. During this period, what will be most important is to maintain the team’s freshness going into each game. Regardless, what I will do is to continue the work that has been put into preparing the team throughout the pre-season and the first few games, to hopefully guide the team to more success this season.”

As we look ahead to tomorrow’s fixture, our new Head Coach now has his full concentration on ensuring that the team continues preparations as smoothly as possible.
“The first thing I told the team is to focus ahead on our match against Tanjong Pagar. We have an exciting squad with a good mix of players from the previous season, as well as new additions, and there is a sense of fresh energy. My goal now is to continue trying to fulfil the potential of the team by preparing well for this string of fixtures to come.”
