Our Stags return to continental action as they prepare to face Preah Khan Reach (PKR) Svay Rieng FC in Matchday 3 of the 2026/27 AFC Champions League Two (ACL Two).

It has been a challenging start to the campaign for Tampines Rovers, with two narrow defeats in their opening fixtures. However, there have been plenty of positives to take away, and the upcoming encounter presents a golden opportunity for Our Stags to secure their first points and reignite their qualification hopes.

PKR Svay Rieng, however, are not to be underestimated. Unbeaten in the Cambodian Premier League (CPL) this season, the five-time champions are equally determined to claim a victory to keep their own qualification ambitions alive. Bolstered by a strong contingent of quality foreign players, the Cambodian outfit possess the firepower to pose a serious threat to Tampines.

Despite the heartbreak of conceding a last-gasp winner against FC Machida Zelvia, Our Stags remain confident in their abilities and determined to turn their performances into results.

Here are all the details from the pre-match press conference with Head Coach Nazri Nasir and Dylan Fox:

On Lessons from the Game Against Machida Zelvia

Nazri Nasir: In the last game, we conceded in injury time. It was really disappointing, having worked so hard for 90 minutes, only to concede with the last kick of the game. But there were a lot of positives to take away, especially playing against Machida Zelvia, who are at the top of the J1 League. I'm very proud of the players. They did very well in maintaining their shape, and we also created chances of our own. Credit goes to the players for their performance. Moving forward, our aim is to get three points. The players are very eager, and everyone is ready despite having played just three days ago.

Dylan Fox: Obviously, it was disappointing, but you can see what we're trying to build here. We believe in what we're doing and what the coaches are instilling in us. You can see the resilience in this team, and I'm sure we'll show that again tomorrow.

On Squad Rotation

Nazri Nasir: I've had a good chat with everyone, and we've been working closely with the medical team. Everyone is fit and available to play, so we won't be making too many changes. We have a strong backline and experienced midfielders. Everyone is ready.

On Approach for the Game

Dylan Fox: As a team, nothing changes. We stick to our game plan. These things happen in football, but we're confident in what we're doing. Even against Shanghai Shenhua, we showed fire and resilience. To be honest, we felt unlucky not to come away with at least a point. That's something we can build on. If anything, these results have made us even hungrier to go out there and get the win tomorrow. The boys are eager and excited to keep pushing forward. We know this is a good opportunity to put everything we've been working on into practice.
