We Forge Ahead With ANA Courier Express - Introducing Our Main Sponsor For The Next Three Years!

Tampines Rovers have made recent headlines with their forward-thinking moves, signing their young triumvirate of Japanese midfielder Kyoga Nakamura, as well as young National stalwarts Joel Chew and Shah Shahiran, to unprecedented 5-year deals. The deal, the first of its kind in Singapore football, includes a progressive structure that mirrors the players’ potential and growth, which speaks to the club’s philosophy of growing together as a family. And it seems that the trend continues with their club partners as well.

We are pleased to announce that the Stags have penned a 3-year deal with long-time partners, ANA Courier Express, to be the main sponsor and principal partner of the club. Over the 7 years of support from the brand, the cumulative value of the sponsorship is understood to be close to SGD $1 million, and speaks volumes about their belief in the club’s vision. The deal will see the global logistics company continue to be emblazoned as the centerpiece of the club’s jerseys, and was commemorated in a signing ceremony held at Our Tampines Hub on Tuesday (15 February).

Specializing in courier services and freight forwarding between Singapore and Japan, the Stags’ Japanese players, Kyoga Nakamura and Shuya Yamashita were on hand at the signing ceremony, and expressed their happiness with the club’s partnership with the brand.

“ANA Courier Express is a familiar supporter of the club, and their continued support of the Stags brings me much joy. Every club needs like-minded partners to grow together with them, and ANA Courier Express has been such a partner since 2018, and we are very honoured to have them on board with us as we prime ourselves for the seasons to come” said Tampines Rovers midfielder Kyoga Nakamura.

The brand was at the forefront of two recent Rovers successes, with the kits being emblazoned with the ‘ANA Courier Express’ name for the club’s Singapore Cup win in 2019, as well as the Stags' Charity Shield victory in 2020, and the club hopes to add to that list of accolades in the years to come.

“We have a long roadmap here at the club. ANA Courier Express, like all our club partners, has been a firm believer in the processes and philosophy of the team. We feel reinvigorated with these showings of support, and the longevity of our partnership has been heartwarming particularly in these hard times for businesses. We will strive to do our utmost to elevate the club to higher levels with the backing of our partners.” added Club Chairman, Desmond Ong at the signing ceremony.

We would like to thank ANA Courier Express for its continued support throughout the years!
